Alaska unique terrain and location make travel and uplinking a challenge.
As an Alaskan based company, we’ve traveled all over our state and into Northwestern Canada doing live productions and satellite uplinks.

We’ve even done uplinks from the oil fields on Alaska’s North Slope—as far North as you can drive in Alaska.  The look angle is extremely shallow (about 5.2 degrees above the horizon to AMC1). We made the shot and even watched the reporter and cameraman jump into the Arctic Ocean.

Because of our location, access to some satellites is limited.  Here are the best satellites for uplinking in Alaska and Northwestern Canada.  Please contact us for specific information about which satellites we can see in what areas of the country.

Night and Day in Alaska
Alaska Sun DataProducers often wonder if they're going to have to deal with 24-hour darkness when coming to Alaska. The answer is-it depends on where and when you go.
